Portfolio - Amway China 2008

Based on the success of the 2007 Amway china gala dinner, Genius Laser Technology was once again contracted to produce an explosive never before seen laser show for the 8000 Amway delegates which where travelling to Melbourne for the greater  China Amway conference.

This year the theme of the event was "World of light" .

The opening of the Gala dinner needed to focus on technology.

The concept:
An inflatable projection spheres which started its journey from the main stage. The sphere had a truss ring surrounding it in the vertical position which also had 8 GLT Moving head Cyclops lasers positioned symmetrically around it.  The truss ring could pivot around the sphere allowing the truss to start from a vertical position and move to a horizontal position. We then tracked the entire system, sphere, lasers and truss ring 48M from the stage into the centre of the room. At the same time projecting a Chinese laser countdown, video projection and lighting onto the sphere, along with laser aerial beam effects from the lasers mounted on the truss ring and full colour lasers positioned around the room.  The result was a spectacular opening which linked all forms of technology to produce a seamless show each night.

We also supplied 2 x 2M fog curtains in each corner which had an array of visuals projected onto them that worked as a great photo opportunity for all the Amway delegates.

There where a total of 14 lasers used
