After the success of the Anna Vissi tour Genius Laser Technology was contracted once again to produce a larger more spectacular laser lightshow for the Australian Despina Vandi Tour.
There where 2 shows.
Vodaphone Arena Melbourne and The Sydney Entertainment Centre.
The production team in Melbourne threw around some ideas and decided to implement the triple head 57 W YAG once again with a twist, this time we included the newly released CYCLOPS moving head YAG laser projectors. Designed and built by Genius Laser Technology. This gave us the flexibility of grunt from the main head and the fiber optic linked heads as well as maneuverability from our moving heads.
All five scanning heads where linked to the newly developed USB laser lightshow controller designed and developed in house, which gave us perfect control of all five scanning heads simultaneously, including DMX control for the moving heads.
The Arenas consisted of a 57W YAG laser with two fiber optic linked heads on either side of the stage. On the center riser we positioned the two CYCLOPS Moving head laser projectors on either side. This produced a flawless combination of choreographed luminous laser beams from five different directions.
Including the ability to project in any direction. An awesome site in anyone's eyes.
