Spectacular City-Wide Laser Shows

For the past 3 years we have worked closely with the City of Melbourne to produce and install a massive new years eve laser show that transforms the Melbourne skyline into a canvas of light and colour. Visible for kilometers, it is an awesome spectacle.

Each year our team looks to build upon the last including more roof tops and an impressive array of full-colour lasers. The result? A night sky that danced with colour choreographed perfectly to music.

Utilising our large inventory of high-power GENLAS laser projectors, our dedicated and expert team are able to deliver even the biggest, city-wide laser light show spectaculars.

Beacon Hobart

Genius Laser Technology supplied and installed our high-power laser projectors for artist Robin Fox's BEACON, an aerial beam show that overlooked the city of Hobart as part of Mona Foma 2022.

The particularly dark skies of Tasmania coupled with our high-power lasers resulted in piercing display that could be seen for kilometers. Some of the shots seen in the video were taken from over 8km from the site.

White Night Ballarat 2024

We were thrilled to present our laser installation, BEAM, in collaboration with Accolade.art for White Night Ballarat 2024

A mesmerizing fusion of high-powered light and art that lit up the night sky and created a canvas of brilliance. Utilizing our extensive inventory of high-power laser projectors, we transformed the former Ballarat Post Office into a beacon of light that drew visitors to the heart of the celebrations. 

Nestled among other incredible artworks, we also delivered a laser projection-mapping show, illuminating the Palace Regent Cinemas Ballarat with our GENLAS laser projectors.

New Year’s Eve – Rotary Club of Esperance 2024

We were delighted to be chosen by the Rotary Club of Esperance to deliver a spectacular New Year’s Eve laser show for the beautiful coastal town of Esperance.

After the previous year’s fireworks were cancelled due to high winds, the club sought an exciting and reliable alternative — and our high-power laser technology provided the perfect solution.

Utilising our powerful laser projectors, we created a punchy and dynamic beam show that filled the night with colour and energy. With Esperance’s remarkably dark skies and minimal light pollution, the vibrant display could be seen for kilometres across the coastline.

To complete the experience, we partnered with local radio station 103.9 HopeFM, who broadcast the accompanying music track so everyone in town could enjoy a fully synchronised light and sound spectacle to ring in the new year.

ICON Sydney

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Sydney Opera House, Robin Fox teamed up with Genius Laser Technology to create an extraordinary laser show extravaganza. 

This mesmerizing event came to life with the utilization of more than 1600 watts of laser power, strategically positioned at two key locations around Sydney Harbour. The lasers meticulously mapped the North and West facades of the Opera House, resulting in a breathtaking audiovisual spectacle that captivated millions of onlookers along the harbor.
